It shows that Chongqing will strengthen its main metropolitan area, develop the Three Gorges Reservoir Area Town Cluster in northeast Chongqing and the Wuling Mountain Area Town Cluster in southeast Chongqing, establish and improve the new mechanism of synergetic development of “Chongqing Metropolitan Area and Two Town Clusters” in line with the new development pattern, and push forward the coordinated development of the region to a higher level.
